Racial Reconciliation, the Church, and Trayvon Martin

Posted on 17:55 by Unknown

How the Church in Sanford, FL promoted racial healing after the Trayon Martin shooting:

"Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
"

Matthew 5:9

Highlights:
  • Jackie Robinson wasn't allowed to play in Sanford.
  • 100 homicides every two months in Chicago without a peep from the Black community.
  • It isn't a Black and White thing, it isn't a race thing; it's a sin thing.
  • "God has called you to be radical ambassadors for peace."
  • The first thing the Church needs to do is pray.

How to Have a Spirtual Conversation

Posted on 17:58 by Unknown

This fall, almost 300 churches across Austin, TX are going to engage in Explore God, a campaign that seeks to answer spiritual questions people have in our 92% unchurched city.  The campaign will produce a series of videos that will equip believers to discuss God with their unsaved friends, co-workers, and associates.  This is the first video:

Explore God Training Session 1: How to Have a Spiritual Conversation from Hill Country Bible Church Austin on Vimeo.

Highlights:
  • A spiritual conversation is always two ways
    • Not a lecture
    • NOT a sales pitch
  • Attitude - Accepting, Listening, and Loving
    • Not confrontational or harsh
  • Don't interrupt
  • The Holy Spirit is ALWAYS the third party in the conversation
  • People are more open to spiritual conversations than you'd think.
    • Don't like arrogance or condescension.
  • Our part is planting and watering; not forcing change.
  • While people are open to spiritual matters, they lack Christian vocabulary and Biblical knowledge.
    • Jesus spoke in everyday language; that's why he used parables.
  • Be bold, but graciously so.
  • Let the conversation start naturally.
  • Walk, don't wave -- Talk to folks with whom you interact regularly about their lives
  • Icebreakers -- Anything that turns the conversation towards spiritual matters
    • "Did you grow up in Church?!?"
    • "What is your spiritual background?!?"
    • "How do you get through tough times?!?"
    • "Do you ever hope there's more than this?!?"
    • "How do you deal with uncertainty?!?"
  • Jesus asked questions and listened.
  • Next step -- Lunch or Coffee
    • Invite them to Church
    • Send them info

Ted Cruz and the Baptists

Posted on 16:28 by Unknown

Sit and Spin ACLU:

Highlights:
  •  Sovereignty belongs to the people but we lend a tiny bit to government for a brief period of time, yet we have a constitution to, as Thomas Jefferson said, "bind the mischief of government."
  • Inscribed in the Liberty Bell was Leviticus 25:10: "Proclaim liberty throughout the land."
  • John Quincy Adams 1837: "Is it not that, in the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the savior?!?"
  • As Christians, we're called to sacrifice and stand for principle.
  • We see liberty, in particular religious liberty, in peril.
  • If we want to preserve our liberty:
    • Pray
    • Stand Up
    • Speak
  • Believing "is getting into the wheelbarrow."

The Original #HailSatan Incident (with Ashley's testimony)

Posted on 13:43 by Unknown

Yesterday, we obviously made a splash with the video of the pro-abortion supporter saying 'Hail Satan;' the video had a lot of background noise, and yesterday we said:
For the record: They've been doing this all day, this is just the first time we caught it on video.
Well guess what, it turns out we have video of the original incident.

So here's the full story, as best we can recall: Around 3 pm, we got up from posting this video and went downstairs by the area near the committee room.  Arriving on the second floor of the capitol extension, we met up with our friend D.J, who was watching women testify with LetTexasSpeak.com.  At that time LTS was broadcasting from a corner on the second floor.

Ashley joined us 20 minutes later, around 3:30.  We continued to listen to the women testify until there were too many people in the corner.  At that point, DPS asked us to move outside, which was when Ashley decided to speak.  We're not sure what time DPS asked us to move, but we were already outside by 4:05 pm when we decided to not watch Glenn Beck because we thought Stu was guest hosting.

20-30 minutes later, Ashley got up to speak.  As you can tell, her testimony is VERY powerful.  The crowd was transfixed, including the pro-abortion people.

As Ashley spoke, a few of the pro-abortion people started saying 'hail Satan' at random.  The first time we heard it was at 3:35 of this second video.  By 5:15, they're chanting it in unison, VERY creepily:

(Author's note: Ashley asked us to point out that she misspoke when she said abortion kills 1.3 people in the United States each year; she meant to say 1.3 million.)

The video posted yesterday took place around 6:30 pm.  This took place around 4:30.  The pro-abortion people were intermittently chanting "hail satan" throughout.

We met Ashley last summer, when the President was in town; to see the footage of the Barack Obama supporter who verbally accosted her that time, click here.

JoAnn Fleming: We have forgotten the meaning of Stewardship

Posted on 11:28 by Unknown
Last Saturday, before the chaos erupted at the Capitol, Cahnman's Musings attended the Our Nation Campaign Prayer and Unity event at the Texas Capitol.  JoAnn Fleming was one of the speakers.  This is a message every believer needs to hear:

Highlights:
  •  "As Christians, we have forgotten what stewardship means."
  • God doesn't care how right you are on an issue if you don't speak the truth in the right way at the right time and in the right spirit.
  • "Stewardship is about understanding that everything we have belongs to the Lord; the tax dollars they spend in this building [the Texas Capitol] belong to the Lord.  So when politicians waste money, they're wasting God's money.  Until you understand what stewardship is, you really can't understand the right way to make decisions about spending other people's money."
  • We've got to demand more of our elected officials based not on politics, but on stewardship.
  • God is greater than any giants that get in the way.
  • "I would ask you today to pray for our state.  Out state is not nearly as strong as people would lead you to believe.  We have abandoned the principle of living debt-free in the state of Texas.  We will probably end this special session without the pro-life legislation being passed because of games by the people who put the political games together...God have mercy on us and on those men.
  • We are to pray for those in authority over us; there is no fine print that says 'if they agree with you.'

BOOK REVIEW: "The People, The Preachers, and the Politicans" by Pastor Dan Cummins

Posted on 22:58 by Unknown

'Then she made a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.” '

1 Samuel 1:11

The other day, we read The People, The Preachers, and the Politicians, by Pastor Dan Cummins.  It was a quick and informative read that re-enforces a point we've made recently.  If Americans (or at least Texans) take care of the things God cares about, then He will take care of the things we care about.

The book is a national call to repentance.  It focuses on Ancient Israel at the end of the era of Judges.  At the time, the nation was weak from internal corruption; as Cummins writes:
The nation was engaged in a war on terror, the moral failure of a politically correct clergy was scandalous, judges were ruling for political and monetary gain, God's presence was absent in the town square and the Ten Commandments...literally gone...SOUND FAMILIAR?!? (18)
In the midst of calamity, one woman's prayer (the prophet Samuel's mother Hannah) helped birth a national revival.  The prophet Samuel anointed King David, a (mostly) godly man who led Israel to her greatest prosperity.

As a national call to repentance, the book is similar to the Harbinger, though the two books focus on different eras in Israel's history.  The similarities between the United States today and Ancient Israel is obvious to anyone who knows the Old Testament.  Cummins details the corruption in the people of both societies, our religious leaders, and our civil government in eye opening form.  Both societies drifted from their spiritual foundation and both suffered similar consequences.  The question is what are going to do about it?!?

The answer is to pray, repent, and get to work doing His business.  If we do that, He'll take care of the rest.  Heading into this next special session, that means we need to focus on passing pro-life legislation and trust Him to take care of the economy.

America is out of what because our vertical relationship with God is out of whack.  Our nation is suffering because we've drifted from God.  If we return to Him, He will take care of the rest.

On Religious Liberty in Texas

Posted on 14:27 by Unknown

“Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
Matthew 22:21

Cahnman's Musings wasn't planning to comment on yesterday's Supreme Court rulings related to homosexual 'marriage.'  Spiritual deception runs deep on this topic and it's easy for words to be twisted.  We can get in enough trouble warning about the perils of opposite sex promiscuity.

Then the Governor called another special session.

During the general session, there was talk of amending the Texas constitution to protect Religious freedom.  The bill died in committee.  Now is a good time to bring it back.

Homosexual 'marriage' has nothing to do with freedom or love.  Homosexual 'marriage' is the camel's nose under the tent of government censorship of Churches.  Once homosexual 'marriage' receives legal protection, it gives activist groups a new weapon to bludgeon Churches.  That's what happened in Canada and Denmark.  Something similar has already begun in New Mexico.

Yesterday, the organized homosexual movement spoke openly about where they intend to take Texas:
“The first stop is to pass a statewide fair employment act, and then to move on freedom to marry. More than 90% of businesses already have policies protecting LGBT workers, but Texas’ increasing reputation as a hostile place for certain groups is a threat to economic development.” As for marriage, “It would take 100 votes in the House to repeal the constitutional ban, and 75 to repeal Texas’ statutory marriage ban, both of which must go for marriage equality to be possible in Texas. We need the votes. It will take time and lots of work, but we’ll get there."
We already have a special session called.  We already have the votes.  While we're discussing issues related to God's word vs. the folly of man, we ought to bring back the religious liberty amendment.

On Spiritual Deception at the Texas Capitol

Posted on 07:40 by Unknown

"You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor[a] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,[b] 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren[c] only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors[d] do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect."
Matthew 5:43-48

Last night, Cahnman's Musings was on the ground at the Texas State Capitol.  We arrived at 5:45 pm and left shortly before 1 am.  We were right outside the Texas Senate chamber when the closing events took place.

One observation stands out: heartbreaking spiritual deception.

The pro-life movement does a disservice to ourselves if we portray last night's mob as mind-numbed robots; they weren't.  That mob was thousands of individuals acting together out of their own free will.  And that's much, much worse.

The root cause of last night's activities was spiritual deception over sex.  Regular readers know this is a topic we've discussed extensively.  In March 2012, we outlined the problem.  Last November, we identified a solution.  As we wrote:
Free stuff is the symptom, promiscuity is the disease.  People voted to maintain their sex lives.
Substitute 'abortion' for 'free stuff' and 'showed up at the Capitol' for 'voted' and you've got a fitting description of last night's crowd.

And that's heartbreaking.

There's only one solution, and that's prayer.  A critical mass of (mostly, but not exclusively, younger) Texans believe the United States Constitution endows them with a right to consequence free sex.  They've bought the lie of 'sexual freedom' hook, line, and sinker.  And that's tragic.  But last night's events were a political manifestation of a spiritual problem, and it requires a spiritual solution.

On Stewardship and the Black Robe Regiment: An Open Letter to Tarrant County Pastors

Posted on 20:34 by Unknown
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:9

"But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand."
Ezekiel 33:6

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."
Hosea 4:6

Gentlemen,

I'm writing you from deep behind the pro-abortion lines at the Texas State Capitol.  As I write this, Texas State Senator Wendy Davis is an hour and a half away from successfully filibustering the pro-life omnibus bill.  Whatever happens on this legislation, however, one thing is obvious.

We need to have a conversation about stewardship.

While God is sovereign over this world, He also expects us to act as prudent and wise managers of all that He entrusts us with.  That includes our votes.  And Christians in Tarrant County have been terrible stewards of the votes God has given them.

In 2012, Wendy Davis won re-election by barely 6000 votes.

And that's where you come in.  Your flocks allowed Wendy Davis to squeak through last year.  50% of Christians don't vote nationally, and I suspect the numbers are similar for your own congregations.

Fortunately, God is graceful.  He will forgive us for allowing things to get this far.  The question is: what  now?!?  Now that you know that this Texas Senator was elected out of YOUR community by barely 6000 votes, what are you going to do about it?!?  As Christian leaders and men of God, it is your duty to inform your flock.

This revolution begins in the pulpit.

Sincerely,
Adam Cahn

Wendy Davis Actually Said This

Posted on 13:22 by Unknown

Wendy Davis has been filibustering for four hours and she's already saying absurd things; from the Facebook page of Concerned Women for America's Associate State Director Michelle Smith:
"I use to be so proud to be a Texan, but now if you've got a uterus you've got to leave that state?"
This thing still has eight and a half hours to go; pray for Wendy Davis to have a repentant soul and overflowing bladder.

And Pray it in Jesus' name.

Amen.

Pastor Stephen Broden: God and Country 2012

Posted on 17:44 by Unknown
Cahnman's Musings got to see Pastor Broden speak earlier today; the video from that event isn't online yet, so, for now, enjoy this speech he gave last year:

Highlights:
  • The seeding ground for what we face today took place in the 18th and 19th centuries.
  • "America is like a healthy body, it's resistence is three-fold: it's patirotism, its morality, and its spiritual life; if we can undermine these three things, America will collapse from within." Joseph Stalin
  • God keeps bringing back 'social' issues; we won't fix the economy until we get 'social' issues right.
  • Banhoeffer was speaking to the Church.
  • You can't speak of American exceptionalism outside of our Judeo-Christian heritage; American exceptionalism is a result of our Judeo-Christian heritage.

Pat Robertson NAILS the Tim Tebow Situation

Posted on 14:50 by Unknown
Amen:

Highlights:

  • Tebow's treatment by the Jets was "nothing short of shameful."
  • "He could have made a tremendous fullback if that's what they'd used him for ... it was just a travesty."
  • "the Jets, they ought to get the Goat Of The Year award,"
The Huffington Post, where we first heard this story, then attempts to say that Robertson's comments about Tebow physique implies some sort of homosexual crush; in context, however, it's obvious that Robertson's comments refer to Tebow's fitness to play fullback.

Truth Behind the Playboy Myth (WARNING: Graphic)

Posted on 21:01 by Unknown

For many years, Cahnman's Musings wanted to be, essentially, the next Hugh Hefner.  In 2011, a (less detailed) version of this story destroyed that illusion and accelerated our pace on the spiritual journey that led to us becoming a Christian.  This is an important story for any male who think he wants to be Hef to read; money quote:
But unfortunately for Hefner, some of his former ‘girlfriends’, as he calls them, have become disenchanted with life in his harem over the years....One by one they have revealed what life was like behind the glittering façade of the Playboy Mansion. According to them, it disguises a grubby world where some girls feel they are no better than prostitutes, paid pocket money by an octogenarian obsessive who funds plastic surgery to turn them into his physical ideal, and yet must still take huge amounts of Viagra to manage sex with them.

....

Hef was used to dirty carpets. The one in his bedroom had not been changed for years, and things became significantly worse when Holly Madison moved into his room with him as Girlfriend No. 1 soon after I moved in, bringing her two dogs.

‘They weren’t house-trained and would just do their business on the bedroom carpet. Late at night, or in the early hours of the morning — if any of us visited Hef’s bedroom — we’d almost always end up standing in dog mess.

‘Everything in the Mansion felt old and stale, and Archie the house dog would regularly relieve himself on the hallway curtains, adding a powerful whiff of urine to the general scent of decay.’

Many girls, it seems, endured these living conditions for the chance of becoming a centrefold in Playboy magazine — an invaluable career boost for any glamour model.

Others admitted that they stayed only for the cosmetic surgery to which Hefner treated them as a birthday presents, keeping a running account with a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon.

....

WARNING: THIS IS THE PART WHERE IT GETS GRAPHIC.

...

Freedom of a kind came on Wednesdays and Fridays, the official nights out, which were the prelude to the twice-weekly sex parties in Hefner’s bedroom.

The girls travelled with Hefner in a white limousine which had a leopard-skin interior, with Playboy bunny logos sewn onto the seats. As they left the mansion, they drank Dom Perignon champagne and downed Quaaludes, a prescription-only sedative drug popularised in the Seventies and now handed out by Hefner.

‘Quaaludes were supposed to give you a nice buzz,’ says Izabella St James. ‘Hef told me once that they were meant to put girls in the mood for sex.’

The thrill of being out after curfew was tempered by Hefner’s wearying habit of going out to the same few clubs, night after night. And his ever-present security guards ensured that no other men were allowed to pay the girls any attention.

At around midnight, according to St James, Hef would take his Viagra. ‘After that, he would constantly check his watch to make sure we left at the right time because if we didn’t, or the timing got messed up, he wouldn’t be able to perform later.

‘We had to line up like geese and follow each other out of the club.’

As with so much else in their time with Hefner, the girls followed strict rules before entering his bedroom for the sex parties.

....

Beforehand, all the girls were told to take a bath. ‘I got in, then another girl appeared from nowhere and jumped in with me,’ recalls Spaulding. ‘Then Hef stepped around the corner and took a photo of us naked in the bath together before disappearing. It was all very strange.

‘Another girl led me into Hef’s master bedroom. The only light was coming from two TVs on which adult films were showing. All the other girls were there, dressed like me in pink pyjamas.

‘If you kept your pyjama bottoms on, that was a sign that you didn’t want to have contact that night.’ According to Spaulding there were 12 girls there on that first night, and only she and another girl declined the offer to have sex with Hefner, who did not use a condom.

There was no protection and no testing for sexually transmitted diseases,’ she says.

Izabella St James, it seems, was much more open about having a physical relationship with him.
‘I wanted to see if this experienced King of Sexdom knew anything the rest of us did not,’ she recalls. ‘But he just lay there like a dead fish.

‘We often wondered why he did it at all. He must know deep down that it is just a show. But he is trying to live out this fantasy he has been selling to people since 1954. He wants to live up to the Playboy image he created and the expectations people have of him.’
Cahnman's Musings prays for Mr. Hefner's soul; in the meantime, however, we urge readers to share this story with any guy who buys into this lie.

Billy Graham -- Charlotte 1958 -- The Lonliness of Character vs. the Lonliness of Sin

Posted on 16:06 by Unknown
Wow:

The Prayer in the Garden

36 Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.” 37 And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. 38 Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.”
39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

Highlights:
  • The last 24 hours of Jesus' life were the darkest in the history of the world.
  • "Before the triumph, before the crown, before the Kingdom, before the victory, there had to come the suffering, there had to come the Cross."
  • Many times in scripture you find Christ praying all night.
  • "Christ wasn't killed by Rome or Israel, the Bible tells us Christ was crucified by you and me; my sins and yours crucified Christ."
  • The physical cross weighed 250 pounds.
  • Have you helped carry the cross?!?
  • Only Jesus could present a sacrifice pleasing to God.
  • Moses had to stand alone; Elijah on Mount Carmel had to stand alone.
  • The loneliness of character vs. the loneliness of Sin.
  • Thousands of our mental problems are the result of spiritual separation from God.
  • Rejecting Jesus is the one unpardonable sin.

America's True Intolerance

Posted on 18:38 by Unknown

A Must Read Letter from Franklin Graham:

Is Our Nation Intolerant of Christianity?

A Prayer Letter From Franklin Graham

May 31, 2013 - Christians must never compromise their allegiance to the Savior, no matter what others may think.

Is Our Nation Intolerant of Christianity?
"We need God’s Word and His laws now more than ever."
— Franklin Graham
Is Our Nation Intolerant of Christianity?
Recently I was at a White House meeting with Vice President Joe Biden and had the opportunity to remind him that our main problem in America is that we have taken God out of our society and out of our government. We need God’s Word and His laws now more than ever.

Disobedience to God’s Word and His laws has wreaked havoc across the political, economic, and spiritual landscape of our country. There is scandal after scandal, and yet our nation’s leaders seem even more belligerent toward Christians.

If we hold up God’s standards, we are accused of being intolerant. “Tolerance” is one of today’s hot buttons, but in reality the true and fast-growing “intolerance” is for Christianity—anything that stands for Jesus Christ.

You may have read recently about the IRS apology for targeting conservative groups in 2011–12. I was not surprised to hear this—BGEA was audited last September, and many believe it was because we encouraged voters to take a strong stand on same-sex marriage issues and biblical values. The audit process was complex and time consuming, but as we expected, it ended well. During the process, in fact, the focus that BGEA puts on sound management and financial accountability was acknowledged as excellent.

Christians must never compromise their allegiance to the Savior, no matter what others may think.

The Lord is looking for men and women who will fully commit their heart, soul, and lives to His kingdom. We find in 1 Samuel that Saul was anointed to lead the Hebrew people. At first he won favor with the people and was victorious in battle. But in chapter 13, we read that Saul feared the opinions of men more than the commands of almighty God.

In a raid in the desert outside Jerusalem against Israel’s enemy the Amalekites, God had told Saul to fully destroy this enemy along with all their possessions. Instead, Saul spared King Agag and kept some of the choice sheep and oxen. He disobeyed God’s command. When the Prophet Samuel arrived and saw the evidence of Saul’s clear disobedience, he pronounced God’s judgment. “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams. ... Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has also rejected you from being king” (1 Samuel 15:22–23, ESV).

Think about it—partial obedience is really no obedience at all. Complete obedience is what the Lord desires. We must never back down from fully following Christ because we fear public opinion or the ridicule of others.
Jesus Christ has commanded us to “go ... and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19)—that commandment applies to each one of us, all of His followers. We can’t fix all the social injustices and problems of our day, but we have been called to take this Gospel to the ends of the earth. BGEA is an evangelistic ministry. We exist to proclaim the lifesaving Gospel of our Savior to as many as possible.

Right now, we have a great opportunity to be involved in reaching others through My Hope America with Billy Graham. It is a simple plan. Make a list of lost friends, acquaintances, and loved ones and begin fervently praying for their salvation. In November, each of us will invite people we care about to our home, church, or favorite hangout to watch a dynamic new program we are developing with a message from my father. You can learn more about participating at MyHopeWithBillyGraham.org. We have training available online to help equip you to share your faith.

A young man who has signed up to be a part of My Hope America wrote us recently to say that he had been praying for a long time for his brother’s salvation. While looking through the My Hope America resources we sent him, he felt a strong sense that the Holy Spirit was saying, “The time is now.” He realized God was prompting him to talk again to his brother about Jesus. “Having this conversation was hard for me at first,” he says, “but, boy, am I glad I was obedient, because today a man who once studied hard to try and prove that God was not real, now follows Jesus Christ!” God works through our lives in mighty ways when we are obedient to His leading.

Your prayers and financial support are critically important for carrying out the nationwide My Hope America outreach, and we are counting on your personal participation in helping to reach people you know who need the power of the Gospel in their lives. Thank you for all you do in serving our Lord.
May God bless you,

1 Peter 4:10 is one of the most important passages in the Bible; in twenty-one words, it outlines the case for free enterprise.

God endows every person with unique gifts.  Each of us are good at some things, while others are good at others.  Through Peter, God instructs us to exchange those gifts in a spirit of mutual service.

Mutual service is the essence of free enterprise.  We meet someone else's needs, who then reward us with the fruits of their own labor.  This bottom up system works as long as the state doesn't try to manipulate things from the top down.

The Nelson study Bible states:
4:10 Every believer is gifted to serve.  Stewards are managers or trustees who will be held accountable for using their gift in the best interest of the One who gave it to them.
 Service leads to good stewardship.

Economic interaction is a form of ministry.  The economic realm is an earthly illustration of meeting each others needs.  Humans shouldn't mess with that outline.

And that's why 1 Peter 4:10 is one of the most important passages in the Bible.

Dannah Gresh: Common Sexual Myths

Posted on 19:58 by Unknown
This was really, really good:

Highlights:
  • I didn't suffer any of the physical consequences (of having sex young), but my spirit was impacted; I was depressed.
  • Sex is worthy of more than a casual hook up.
  • Myth #1: You can hook up without committment
    • During sex, your brain releases dopamine and oxytocin, which bonds you to your partner.
    • Friends w/ Benefits might just be physically impossible.
  • Myth #2: You can have great sex without being in love
  • Myth #3: Sexual Pleasure is greatest when you're young and hot.
